Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Chandra Grahanam( Lunar Eclipse). This Saturday 10th December 2011 Lunar Eclipse was visible (happening? In Malaysia where I live. For quite some years now the Eclipses, Lunar and Solar come and go without me noticing it or just reading about them and seeing the images in the internet news reports. This immediately set me to think about two distinct Chandra Grahanams. Lunar Eclipse in Tamil) one Surya Grahanam. No marks for guessing it right yes it is Solar Eclipse). This temp...

Sunday, June 30, 2013. We were one of the first visitors to the London Tower that day. We had already bought the tickets through our niece for that day and had the tickets with us and hence we did not waste time standing in the queue. Any body who has read about Henry the VIII would know London Tower and that was the exact reason I wanted to see this. This is the Tower where Political Prisoners (read it as people whom the King and his cronies dislike) were kept as Prisoners. There were so many things hap...

Thursday, July 09, 2015. 2014 USA condtinued. Corning . It is so unlike an Indian that I had not visited Niagara Falls even after 15 years of my regular visits to USA. At last Vinu made it possible for us to visit this famous Falls. I was told by Anu that the view from Canada is the best and it is not worthwhile to go if we don't go to Canada side. Unfortunately, we did not have time to get our Canada Visa due to our Africa trip and decided to go to Niagara any ways. We proceed to Corning Museum. The His...
