Wasn't sure what would happen. I knew I could do the 10K, but not completely sure about the half. So that's how I knew the half was perfect for me - total challenge. :). Thursday, August 18, 2011. How can it be a year since my first surgery already? Someone asked me other day if I would do it all again. I don't know how to answer that. Could I do things differently this time? The road I took was long, painful and bumpy but it got me here. I regret missing Billy's first month of kindergarten but I am there more for him every day. I've been more active with him. Is that worth the month I missed? I hope so in the long run! The issue above all issues is my self worth.

Thursday, July 29, 2010. There was no procedure today - just a consult and schedule procedure for Aug 12. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. Who knows how to have fun? Who knows who to party? I have my last pre-op check-up appointment tomorrow. OOOHHHH, an upper GI. Not sure what that entails. I already saw the pulmonologist and cardiologist. EKG was good and chest x-ray was normal.
