Saturday, 14 March 2015. Our new Stone Age to Iron Age project began when a curator from Winchester City Museum dropped off some strange artefacts for us to investigate! The children didn't know where or from what time period they came from. They had to use their inference and deduction skills to work out where they had come from. The children really impressed us with their thinking skills! Promote your Page too. World Book Day 2015. Shamblehurst Primary School. Powered by Blogger.

Thursday, 3 October 2013. Our trip to Build a Bear and Waterstones. Year R had a fantastic day yesterday when they visited the Build a Bear Workshop and Waterstones. http://shamblehurstyear3.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, 23 October 2014. Knowing Me, Knowing You. One quiet morning we decided to go to the conservation area to get some inspiration for some autumn poetry. However, upon entering the conservation area the children made a startling discovery! There were banners and posters all around! One poster said 'Save Our Species, another said 'Stop destroying our habitat! In English we learnt about non-chronological reports and created a variety using our learning in science. After this we learnt how to stru...
