Saturday, 4 July 2015. Shadow work saree pallu. In the beginning of this year I have started to do shadow work in a saree. I have completed 3/4 of the embroidery and today I am showcasing the pallu part of it. Earlier I have posted the motif here. In that I have embellished it with more stones. Thursday, 9 July 2015. Embroidery on paper, Iris folding. First the design has been pricked in the chart paper and then with single strand of thread the design has been created using straight stitches. Can u believe that the two rounds in the design is made up of only straight stitches? Wonderful art on paper with needle and thread. Then added the thoughts inside it.
