http://crazyforcolor.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 28, 2009. What I've been up to the past few days. I am almost finished with my memorial piece for Jeanne CAlle and thought I'd go ahead and post an image. It still needs binding, some beading (I ran out of a certain kind of bead I had! And then some stitching on her hair and face. Here is another one of my Mixed Media Scar. Ves I think I'm keeping this one for myself. Not quite sure yet. The piece I posted yesterday from my monoprint playing became this:. Friday, February 27, 2009.

Jules's Notes: July 2011
http://julessnotes.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 29, 2011. It seemed to me that Thessaloniki was a city of apartment buildings. Once you got away from the waterfront, there was very little open space in the city- just tall buildings and roads. So, here is a gas station. Right there, under someone's apartment, is the Shell station. But, then, you come across something like this. And miss this detail? Links to this post. Thursday, July 28, 2011. Jules's Notes: Chapter 2, History of the Medieval World
http://julessnotes.blogspot.com/2015/01/chapter-2-history-of-medieval-world.html
Wednesday, January 07, 2015. Chapter 2, History of the Medieval World. This chapter was about the time period 220-420 AD in China. I know nothing about Eastern history, so it's all new to me. In 357, Fu Jian started conquering cities in the north, and in 383 tried to defeat the Jin at the Battle of the Fei River. Even though Fu Jian had a much bigger army, the Jin defeated them. At that pont, Fu Jian's cities started falling away. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Marietta, Georgia, United States.

Jules's Notes: Apple Camp
http://julessnotes.blogspot.com/2011/07/apple-camp.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. I think I am going to wander over to the Genius Bar (which is not a bar and is not staffed by geniuses) to inquire about a mouse for my Mac Book. Oh, and which color iPad cover should I get? I am not going to ask the geniuses that one.). And why are other camp children wandering around the store not paying attention? Fiber Dream Diva: November 2008
http://fiberdreamdiva.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 1, 2008. We haven't had quite a frost in Atlanta yet, but the leaves are beginning to turn (and fall) and the temps are quite chilly - YAY! I always celebrate this season. I love everything about the change to fall, then on to winter. The position of the sun, the smell of fallen leaves, someone burning leaves somewhere, the earth seems to give up such a rich smell. The breezes refresh completely. The "ceiling" is so very high and the blue skies make me feel free! 4-6 scallions, chopped.

Fiber Dream Diva: January 2010
http://fiberdreamdiva.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 27, 2010. And so, it begins. I had to do a mental and literal shake of the head to grab hold of the notion of 2010. I remember when the passing of 1969 to 1970 was of great importance to me. Wow, a new decade! Oh, the delight in being a witness to and a participant in the movemenet of one decade into another! After 1970, the clocks and calendars conspired to leap and bound in an effort to outpace me. So far, I'm staying the course. Also in 2010, I'll tackle several art projects. View m...

I just realized that I missed a really important one for a dear friend. Bad! The flip side of this year is all of the new at my house. Little things. Simple pleasures. New furniture in my studio!
