Climb Shasta 2006: Weather Changes Climbing Date

http://www.shastabuster.blogspot.com/2006/05/weather-changes-climbing-date.html

A daily record of my prepartion for climbing Mt. Shasta on June 1st. Gotta Bust It Up The Hill! Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Weather Changes Climbing Date. The climb has been delayed by one day. The weather system moving through would have made the likelihood of us summitting less than 50%. Friday still shows some unsettled weather, but hopefully Saturday will be good enough to get us to the top. Posted by The Rolling Gnomes @ 6:58 AM. Links to this post:. http://shastabuster2007.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html

Climb Mt. Shasta 2007. Wednesday, April 04, 2007. March was a good training month. However, to climb Avalanche Gulch up to Red Banks like in this picture, means a major workout for your calves. Last year this is where I turned around because my calves started cramping up. For my workouts, I'm really focusing on running, lower and core body workouts. The next 8 Weekends. The next two weeks are shot with Sea Ranch this weekend for Easter and next weekend we are in Palm Springs! May 29th - leave for Shasta!
