Sheep on a bike. April 7, 2015. April 7, 2015. Yesterday I saw a funeral at the USJ 22 Muslim cemetery. It was raining and umbrellas were up as they laid the deceased to rest and paid their last respects with prayers. As we drove by, I told my brother that it was a very grim sight, like in the movies. But I quietly thought to myself that it was also ironic. The presence of rainfall is often thought to bring a dark, grim atmosphere as you part with loved ones in death. But rain is life.
