Who is Cat Head? May 3, 2009 at 1:14 pm. I’m calling this the Ie Bag. “Ie” is one Japanese word for “house.” There are others but this one seems to fit best here. It’s much smaller than the Kali bag, at only 6 1/2 x 8 in. I used coarse Japanese linen and a random Japanese cotton fabric from Kokka. Music to sew by: Gorillaz. And again, I hate WordPress. WHY is it making every second pic on here BIGGER? Entry filed under: fabric. A treat for myself. 2 Comments Add your own. May 3, 2009 at 1:35 pm.

Who is Cat Head? May 31, 2009 at 9:46 am. I’ve been neglecting my blog for quite some time. We flew off to San Francisco to see one of my step-sons graduate and to meet up with family we haven’t seen for over a decade. LittlestCatHead got to meet her step-grandmother and another of her dad’s brothers for the very first time. I’ve got to move forward or try something different. Entry filed under: sewing. Who is Cat Head? Archive for March, 2009. I posted some new items on my etsy. Yes, I know the photos are terrible. I really really really need a new camera…. March 23, 2009 at 3:56 pm. I have been avoiding this blog. I have been sewing but avoiding writing up the things I’ve done. I don’t even have pictures of most of the things I’ve made lately. I seem to be in a space where I want to CREATE, not CATALOGUE. Ya know? But here I am again. I’ll try to get back into the swing of things. Let Sleeping Cats Lie.

Who is Cat Head? August 11, 2009 at 3:05 pm. Yes, I’ve been neglecting my blog. I’ve been neglecting a lot of things but I’ve been having a great summer doing it! Just got back from seeing Julie and Julia. With my eldest daughter, who is here visiting. It gave me the idea of working my way through a sewing book. I have completely lost my sewing mojo and perhaps this would force me to DO something about it. What do you think? So, um, help? Entry filed under: MrsCatHead. 1 Comment Add your own. Who is Cat ...

Who is Cat Head? Happy Father’s Day. June 21, 2009 at 12:05 pm. Hope you all are enjoying a nice day with the daddies in your life. I made MrCatHead a lovely brunch but had a bit of trouble with our blender. Instead of mango lassis. We now have mango pudding because I ended up having to put all the ingredients in the food processor when the blender started smoking! For brunch, I made a baked dish with polenta. Slices, spicy tomato sauce, linguica. Cheddar cheese and eggs. It was amazing! Who is Cat Head?

Sunday, January 11, 2015. There is an idea brewing. What are you hearing from nature? Labels: hand dye yarn. Friday, January 9, 2015. Collect ALL the bits. Labels: collect all the bits. Sunday, January 4, 2015. This little loom belonged to my mom as a child. When I unearthed it there still was a little piece of her weaving on it. That little square of wool now hangs. On the inspiration board in my studio. One day I took the little loom with me out to the campfire with. How imperfectly perfect it is.
