Sunday, November 16, 2014. Chloe turns 14 - Lord help us! Cake, friends and an iPhone. Yes, this is one happy 14 year old. We had so many incredible adventures on this trip! Most importantly, we got to spend this time with people we love! Well, yes, of course Edward is included in this list! Our amazing whale watching adventures! Finally taking Daddy on a dune bug ride. Fun at the beach! Even though it was FREEZING). And lots of fun just about everywhere else with Inge and Kaitlyn. So where was I?

Wednesday, March 19, 2014. My girl. My hero. Sometimes I can be very hard on my girl. While she usually pulls A's and B's, sometimes things can get very heated during homework times or when we hear about a not-so-great test score. Today it took a near stranger to remind me just how wonderful and special Chloe is. It's a little embarrassing to say this, being her mother I should always remember this first and foremost, right? Here's what I received today. This is the second SAE Chloe has received.

Sunday, May 11, 2014. Logan and his Shadow. Shadow is growing fast! He really turning out to be a fun pet. Logan is going to bring him into my class this week and do a whole presentation. He's very excited. Logan, that is. I'm not too sure how Shadow feels about it. A few weekends ago, the kids participated in another TKD demo. I just love watching them in action! Sunday, January 12, 2014. You may already know, but we lost Sadie in October. Almost 3 years to the day after losing Micky. She was with us for such a long time and was such a loved part of our family. But, age caught up to Sadie and we realized life was not joyful for her any longer. It was time to say goodbye. Sadie was our Original. My girl. I will keep her in my heart forever. The Steindorf Clan (4 legged Steindorfs that is! Sadie and Micky are smiling down on these guys. Dustin, hanging with Dad.

Sunday, February 09, 2014. I love my family! Just thought I'd take a moment to show up my beautiful family. Yes, it's true. We had, yet ANOTHER snow day, just 5 days after our last one. It's pretty much unheard of in Texas. And surprisingly enough, we actually got a good little dusting of snow. And another day off from school. So my boy is now 9. This year we surprised Logan with two things that he has been begging us for years. I'm not sure what exactly we were thinking, but Logan was beyond thrilled.

Friday, January 24, 2014. Ever had one of those blankets that you just can not get all the dog hair off. Lint rollers, the Dyson.Nothing works! SNOW DAY - Texas style. Well today the kids are home, due to incremental weather. AKA a Texas Snow day. It's 29 degrees outside and ice everywhere. We even found a bit of snow. A Texas snow bank. I know this one is blurry, but it shows how much ice was on the trampoline. Actually it was frozen solid. I'm not sure letting them jump was my best decision.
