You can see the smoke from a nearby fire. Pictures of Colorado coming soon.:). Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Saturday, July 2, 2011. We love cotton candy!

http://swaincrewnews.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 20, 2009. It was supposed to be calm and clear. We traveled to Utah on December 4th to spend Christmas with our families. The weather was supposed to be beautiful but you know I was listening to the weatherman in Nevada. Their big story is wind. This white stuff was delivered for our enjoyment along with a 17 degree high. The kids love playing games and of course posing for pictures in front of Grandma's tree. We ventured to see Santa so everyone could get their orders in for Christmas&#...

I thought it was amazing how many people were there. I can't imagine what it's like in the "high"season! Buckingham Palace was such a massive building we couldn't get it in one shot! The Royal Mews is on the Buckingham Palace property. This is where all of the coaches are housed, the horses, vehicles, etc. Queen Alexandra's State Coach. On our ...

The Sheltraw Family: December 2013
http://sheltraw.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. We had a very busy month of December. That's part of why I've been so neglectful of the blog, but I'm trying to catch up! Here's what we've been up to this month:. Santa came to Texas, cowboy hat and all! This was also the first time Brody sat with him without crying! This was another one of my attempts at trying to keep them from fighting all day so I could get some stuff done. :) We made felt Christmas trees so they could decorate with pompoms and ribbons. Ammy and Papa drov...

The McDonald Family: Avery is 6 months!
http://ckmcdonaldfamily.blogspot.com/2012/11/avery-is-6-months.html
Lilypie Third Birthday tickers. Lilypie First Birthday tickers. Friday, November 2, 2012. Avery is 6 months! My baby girl is 6 months old! I can't believe that is has been half a year! Where has the time gone? She is growing like a weed. She isn't crawling yet.which is good, because I am really not ready for that at all. However, you put her down on one side of the room and she ends up on the other side rather quickly. Lots of rolling and some sort of scooting. She also found her voice! Avery at 6 months.

Another fun idea.we used Disney paint swatches to make a countdown to our Disneyland trip! I made homemade fingerpaints from a recipe on Pinterest. It just had cornstarch, sugar, salt, and water. Then I added some crayola washable paints for color. Obviously the "finger"painting turned into footpainting. Here's one that I don't think is worth it, but apparently everyone else who tried thinks it's amazing! I posted this birthday wreath on the home page, but I had to share it here since I found it on pinte...

swain crew news: November 2009
http://swaincrewnews.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 12, 2009. Are you In or are you Out? Are you in or Are you Out? Those are the famous words that Heidi Klum says each week on "Project Runway." Avery's Project Runway 13th birthday party strutted its way into our house last month. Seven designers, staples, velcro, safety pins and belts were all put to use in designing their runway gems. Food is a necessity for any designer so "Olive Garden" was the food of choice before the big sewing extravaganza started. Run on first and his friend go...
