Triumph Tina: December 2011
http://triumphtina.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 30 December 2011. Triumph Tina the beginning. This blogg should have started last year as I have had this scooter since March 2011 from a guy called Mike from Worksop. I saw an add in a scooter magazine "1962 Triumph Tina 100cc with log book £300 ono". I text him to ask, was he open to offers and had a quick reply YES. So the next day I drove up north to pick up all the bits. Again I had acquired a large pile of (strange to me) bits. OK strip down time, first remove the magneto.

http://billy192.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
My 1955 Lambretta LD 150 restoration. Monday, 14 November 2011. The original black seat covers have seen better days.I think a nice Tan colour will pop with the Beige paintwork. Any thing has to be better than original grimy black ones. 65279;. Strip off the old covers and clean up the steel work send out for Powder coat. It has to be Black Gloss for the frames. As I was unable to buy a spring set for the LD seats I had to trawl the tinter web and found a very helpful site The. Work on the LD wheels.

Lambretta LD restoration: Rear Brake
http://billy192.blogspot.com/2012/02/rear-brake.html
My 1955 Lambretta LD 150 restoration. Tuesday, 28 February 2012. The cabling was changeling. There are plenty of diagrams but all are a bit confusing to me. this section shows the rear brake cable. First. I had to rig up a rear brake light switch. Hold in place with the leg shields in place to check clearance. A couple of decant jubilee clips around the bracket to secure. On with the brake peddle return spring. Washer Cir clip and grease nipple. Fit the feral then slip in to the frame bracket. Over the c...

Lambretta LD restoration: December 2011
http://billy192.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
My 1955 Lambretta LD 150 restoration. Friday, 9 December 2011. Part of the MKll is a steel toolbox that sits on the inside of the leg Shields. This item was missing form my collection of bits from the previous owner. I foud a website in the USA which was so cheap it covered the cost of postage. When ordering I had a choice of no holes or two holes. So I ordered the no holes version as I am not keen on the blanking plate if l was unable to find an original wind up clock for the left hand side hole. The ca...
