But I couldn't meet with wildlife in good distance for shooting with camera. The river and forest is in completely the summer color now. You know, summer is not a good season to chase the animals. Visited Mt. Tsubakuto-Dake. Not only to enjoy trekking, but also to take pics of the Japanese Rock Ptarmigan. Enjoyed 2days short trek. suffered with heaviness of 3 lenses. 今年の秋は、結果を求めていた。「撮れない」ということがないように二重・三重にその準備を進めていたが、事情があって北海道入りが三週間遅れた。この時期の季節の動きは速い。当初の予定では出来たであろうことが全てできなくなっていた。状況を聞くと、予定通り北海道入りできていたら今頃ずいぶんとシャッターを切っていただろう。読みが的中していただけに苛立ちが募った。 行き場を失った僕は、現地でヒグマと関わって生きる人達を尋ねた。彼らと話をすると、自分の無知を改めて感じて心が引き締まるのと同時に、未知の世界を覗き見るようで想像力が刺激され気持ちが昂る。 動物を追うことは、歩くことであり、待つことであるのと同時に「人と関わっていくこと」だとこの頃強く感じている。今回の遠征は失敗し、無駄に終わる予感に苦しんでいた。しかし人に会い、話をしてみると、今までやってきたことは無駄ではないと思えてくる。彼らと知り合えたことこそが、撮影活動の最も大きな成果の一つだからだ。 Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
