Sunday, June 25, 2006. Wellthe new staff finally arrived at camp! They are all really great. I almost feel like I've known some of them my whole life. Camp people are really one of a kind. We just finished our staff training orientation week. It was so hectic with all of the meeting, greeting, projects, activities, and training going on. My cabin was made up of 10 counselors. They are such a great group of girls! Everyone loved it and they plan on using our idea next year. So glad that it worked out!

Our friend from camp Tom (Hoggy) flew down to Melbourne for a concert and to visit with us! We had such a great time. The presents were great, especially because they had to be under $10. We got each other some wonderful $10 gifts and played the scratch off lotto cards that Destri's mom sent us in our individual stockings (thanks Mrs. B! She was a little emo that day! Saturday, January 20, 2007. Love this picture of the surfers. So good to be out of the city! How cool is this house? You can't see from this angle, but on the opposite side there is a bridge connecting it to the land. Us in the loft of our hostel. That's the Wallaby we saw. at least we saw a small Kangaroo!
