Monday, October 31, 2011. This dish will be loved by children and Americans as they dont like to have spices in the chicken curries. Basically for this dish only turmeric is used and cooked in such a way that it gives nice taste :) . Chicken - 1 lb. Onion - 1 large thinly sliced. Tomato - 2 finely chopped. Green chilly - 7. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp. Oil - 3 tsp. Cumin seeds/ Jeera - 1tsp. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp. Capsicum ( optional) - thinly sliced. Please make sure not to add water in this process).

Grind ginger garlic paste with 2 tsp of oil in order to refrigerate it. It will stay fresh for a long time. Left Over Rice :. Grind leftover rice with rice flour- 1 cup and wheat flour - 1/2 cup and dosa batter will be ready. Instead of throwing little leftover rice to dustbin we can use it and have yummy dosa :). Tumeric and Garlic Usage:. Use Tumeric and garlic in your dishes which adds taste to the dish and also which is good for health. Olive oil is the best oil to use as it contains.

Kitchen Art and Crafts. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Indian Peanut Brittle Chikki. An old fashioned sugar candy embedded with peanuts. It is called chikki in India which is prepared with just 2 ingredents - Jaggery (or cane sugar) and peanuts. Making chikki is just so much fun, because it is an easy recipe which can be made very quickly. Is also an excellent holiday gift and made during Indian festivals like Makar Sankranthi. I like to eat it for evening snack. 3/4 cup Jaggery (cane sugar). Links to this post.
