It looks hilarious, yet fabulous at the same time. Saturday, June 12, 2010. Let there be light. First actual sunny day in weeks (mid 70's in Seattle . whoo hoo! I first put the pool in the back yard at 8am (because it's never too early for a pool), and realized it wouldn't get too much sun all day. Moved the pool to the front yard by 9am to catch the sun all day . and within 30 minutes all the neighborhood kids had joined in the fun. Reminder for next time . have enough food in the cupboards for 6 additional kids! Saturday, June 5, 2010. Again, such glee!

Monday, March 30, 2015. I have come down with a stomach bug and the girls took such good care of me tonight and were so sweet and attentive. And I often worry that we are raising them with a sense of entitlement and that they don't seem grateful enough for all the blessings in their lives. So I thought the Director had said "we need another check" . meaning we had forgotten the next month's tuition. I noticed that she was scratching her head at the time . Friday, November 30, 2012. Keeping the tooth fairy busy. A picture tells a thousands words. Sophie used to have a typical cheeky, toothy, 5-year old grin in all her photos. Now, more often than not, she hides the top row of teeth or closes her mouth completely, with only the corners of her mouth revealing a slight smile.
