The Engineer and The Lactation Chic: wbw, take 5!!
http://marcusandjulie.blogspot.com/2015/08/wbw-take-5.html
Wbw, take 5! I have officially been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for 5 solid years! My first thought, is holy smokes my body has belonged to crazy little people for far too long. But then today I put on a tube top (I never wear tube tops.the word itself even sounds weird, too weird to wear) and I had bought this particular one to use for kangaroo caring Baby Vanilla. It made the perfect little pouch to tuck him into for skin to skin time. Happy World Breastfeeding Week to all the mamas I have had the pl...

Last day of school. So proud of you, sweet LE! And when did you get so big? Today you told me "I'll be so excited when I'm 31! And you constantly talk about the freedoms of 16. The Engineer and The Lactation Chic: February 2015

I seriously cannot get enough of this little guy! And his silly big sister :-). Kidsthey're the best (and the worst for personal space or sleep). There is still debate about a number 3 at our house. It all depends on how we slept the night before. We shall see. Right now our family is in search of a home in a more desired school district (Can you believe LE will be a real big kid soon? She already loves preschool and asks to spend the night with her friends, Havyn and Kyler! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Engineer and The Lactation Chic: first birthday
http://marcusandjulie.blogspot.com/2015/07/first-birthday.html
And moving. Poor Baby Vanilla or "Dane buddy" as we lovingly refer to him. He has to share his birthday with our moving day. Sorry little man.you were conceived during a big move and now celebrating your birthday during another one. It really doesn't matter because you are such a ray of sunshine all the time. I. You are so sweet and happy that it still baffles me. Happy birthday, sweet baby boy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to our blog! You can reach me at julieoberholzer@gmail.com.

I'm so far behind on everything I want to post, but this is better than nothing. Baby Vanilla's smile as his sister pushes him on a swing. His smile completely overtakes anyone who falls prey. The Engineer and The Lactation Chic: October 2014
http://marcusandjulie.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Today at COSI there were a pumpkin and cowgirl running lose. Tonight for trick or treating, one turned into Elsa. I know so creative, but hey she's 3. We oddly enough had ZERO Elsa's show up at our door (minus our own little queen). Good thing we weren't playing the Elsa costume drinking game, because that would have been lame. Fell asleep holding her baby brother's hand. LE is a dedicated big sister :-). Just a cowgirl on her horse. She's famous for rescuing leaves. Lets play a game. Is it LE or Vanilla?

The Engineer and The Lactation Chic: January 2015

Baby vanilla: 6 months. This little fellow turned 6 months and is really letting his personality start to shine. Baby Vanilla loves to smile at anyone, everyone. No really, he is oddly happy (or maybe we are just used to our slow to warm up/slightly cranky LE). He is starting to babble and army crawl around. He loves mama best, but I think that has to do with his main food source. While he likes nursing, food seems to be Vanilla's thing. And who can blame him with his 2 new teeth! Not terribly impressed ...

Life with the Johnsons: First Soccer Game
http://uncjohnsons.blogspot.com/2013/09/first-soccer-game.html
Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Here are some thoughts from Tyler's first soccer game this past weekend. He was by far the most tenacious player out there- both on offense and defense! We all had a great time and I think I've caught a glimpse of what my future will be like with 2 boys. Looks like fun. Glad the whole family, plus Grandmama and Grandaddy, got to enjoy the big game. Directly after the game, Mommy: "Tyler, how many goals did you score? Sam even had a good time. Life with the Johnsons.
