The Conkey Crew: December 2009
http://theconkeycrew.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 28, 2009. Back in my previous post I had talked about hosting Christmas Eve for the very first time for the Bruchanski side of the family (my mom's side). We have been prepping the house for weeks! Wednesday night I had my 'helper' come over and set up the dinner table. Thanks to Amanda S. my table was beautiful! I loved the way that it turned out and I got so many compliments on it! Here are a few pre-dinner pictures. Sami and Aunt Susie. Aunt Adele and Gigi. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Renee.

The Conkey Crew: March 2009
http://theconkeycrew.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. Well, things have been pretty quiet around the Conkey. House the last few weeks and that is a good thing! So, I decided to take this opportunity to share with you a little bit about one of my hobbies. I love to make cards. The whole process for me to make "one" card is usually a long one. I have to admit that I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to making cards. I love pouring over. Why 2 weeks you might ask? Yes, this is the one that I hand stitched! Little Lambs Art Show.

The Conkey Crew: January 2009
http://theconkeycrew.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2009. Over the past week I have written down a few random conversations that have taken place in the Conkey household. I thought that I would share them with you. Kaelyn - " Eeeewwww! Ian responds - "I know Kaelyn, sometimes you have to see that in commercials. It's pretty gross! Ian - "Mom I wish you would adopt a baby so I could have a little brother.". Me - "Did you just spell your name? Spell it again.". Me - " Yea! Me - "Wake up Sleeping Beauty.". Me - "Well, then who are you?

The Conkey Crew: June 2010
http://theconkeycrew.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 8, 2010. We have had a very busy May around the Conkey. The days have been filled with school activities, BBQ's. Friends' birthday parties, soccer for Ian, swim lessons for the girls, dance practices, recitals, preschool graduation and camping! I am tired just writing all of it! A few weeks ago the girls had their dance recital. Kaelyn. Danced in 4 numbers and Sami. Danced in 3. I am happy to report that everybody danced in all of their dances! Of course, wanted to be a beautiful ballerina!

Friday, February 26, 2010. A Most Magical Vacation. We have been planning our 1st trip to Disney for many months. We felt that the kids were at perfect ages to enjoy all that Disney had to offer. We had been saving our Disney Rewards (from our credit card) for years now and had accumulated enough points to pay for 4 days at the parks. It was time to make the trip. Was there really 'no place like it on earth'? We spent the first day of our vacation just hanging out at the hotel and waiting for my parents ...

Friday, May 22, 2009. This past Wednesday we had the honor of taking Kaelyn to her preschool graduation. She has grown up so much in the past year and it was so wonderful to see her graduate. A year ago she would have never stood up in front of everyone and tell them that she wanted to be a teacher when she grows up. A year ago she would have never stood in front of everyone to sing songs. She has come such a LONG way! Here is a picture of the new graduate! Here is Kaelyn with her proud parents. There we...

The Conkey Crew: July 2009
http://theconkeycrew.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2009. 2 weekends ago we were able to go down to Springboro, OH (just south of Dayton) to visit Brolan's sister and family. The kids have been begging and begging to see their favorite cousins, Parker and Avery. Everybody gets along so great and they love spending time together. This year Sami was finally old enough to be "included" with Kaelyn and Avery. Here is a picture of the gang. We had a wonderful and relaxing time with our family! Monday, July 20, 2009. Sunday, November 8, 2009. Halloween 2009 - Better Late Than Never. We had a very busy and fun filled Halloween week this year. 3 Halloween parties on 3 different days and of course LOTS of candy! It started with Sami's preschool party at Little Lambs preschool. Sami had lots of fun at her party. Here is a picture of her and her friend Emily. She was very proud of her picture frame that she got to decorate. She also had a pumpkin tatoo painted on her hand. After the parade they got to decorate cookies.

The Conkey Crew: August 2009
http://theconkeycrew.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 31, 2009. Brolan was so happy that he was grinning from ear to ear! It rained on Friday night so it was nice to have a place for the kids to play. Here is a picture of Ian and I on the ride (we are somewhere in there). Here is a picture of Ian after riding the Iron Dragon twice! We were proud of him for giving it a try! After that it was time to cool off with some great 'blue' Icee's! I think that their lips were blue for the rest of the day! It was especially nice having my parents there ...
