Mike Jackson's Paddling Journal. A journal of my sea kayak trips. Thursday, July 23, 2015. July 23 - Cadboro Bay (#67). I went out for a quick evening paddle around Cadboro Bay in the surf ski. It was quite windy with a little chop, and you can see on the track that I got some help from the wind and current between Cattle Point and Jemmy Jones. It was good to clear the cobwebs out! I took the new Kaboat 396. 12ft) inflatable out for a row and paddle in the bay. I brought a short paddle so ended up mostly rowing. The boat moves nicely and will work well as a tender for Natural C-lection. I also think that it will be paddleable with one of my longer paddles. 1 km, YTD 395 km.
