Sister Kirts in Salt Lake. 547875 days in Salt Lake City. Sunday, March 11, 2012. 6 months to go and back in Park City. We're back in the barn shed in Park City. It's muddy and snowy, but hey it's pretty close to nirvana. We have been able to visit a few of the people that I knew before and it was fun at church yesterday to be welcomed back. We are teaching so many new people and we have baptisms set for this coming weekend. People are truly prepared to hear the gospel no matter where you are.

Saturday, October 1, 2011. I went to the Falls Church Farmer's Market this morning with my roommate. It was cold and rainy - totally indicative of fall - and so much fun! Things added to my refrigerator: zucchini, apples, and basil. I was particularly excited about the apples because I haven't been able to find any good, crisp ones since I have been here. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Chocopologie is a cute little dessert cafe located on historic Main Street of Norwalk, CT. The owner has competed on a Food Network program several times. Maybe Iron Chef? Sunday, September 27, 2009. This blog pays tribute to gravity. Who thought that 9.8 meters per second squared would have such an effect on all of our lives, or buildings in Pisa. The infamous leaning tower is so well known all because of gravity (and a sandy foundation - primary song anyone? And I think it's amazing that the thing is still standing. Thursday, October 6, 2011. A large portion of my life is spent waiting here for this beauty to pick me up and take me home. I have a love/hate relationship with the bus. Hate about the bus:. The bus only comes every half hour meaning I'm either really early or really late. The bus arrival time is inconsistent - some days it comes 10 minutes late and other days it's right on time. It takes 25 minutes to go 4 miles East to Rosslyn. Love about the bus:. The drivers and passengers are usually so friendly!

Sunday, March 20, 2011. Here is the recipe for the yummy pasta dish prepared for our Relief Society Birthday celebration last week. It was a grand success and sure to please your family. And it couldn't be any easier. 2 (145 ounce) cans Italian-style diced tomatoes. 1 (19 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed. 10 ounces fresh spinach, washed and chopped. 8 ounces penne pasta. 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente. Prep Time: 15 minutes.
