Sunday, November 30, 2014. The Christmas lights that never were. Kyle so graciously accepted the call to string up the Christmas lights. Who ever thought of trying out brand-new lights before hanging them up? Apparently, not me. He got them all up and neither string worked. He then, not-so-graciously, took them down and will try again sometime this week. Until then. Perfect day to hang Christmas lights! I have much to be thankful for this year. I can't wait to go! I am also going to miss the MTC! Kyle ha...

Monday, August 3, 2015. August 3, 2015. Seventeen years ago, Kyle Benjamin Paynter joined our little family (at the time). Just like each of my children, he came with his own personality. He has teased us, entertained us, and made us laugh! He has turned into a handsome young man, struggling to figure out where his life is headed. Despite this, he continues to improve his grades in school, works hard around our house, and every now and then has a HUGE hug for his dear old mom! Love you tons, Kyle!

Sister Pearl's World
Hi I'm Marco's sister. Those of you who don't know me can call me Pearl. When I was nineteen, I bit into a pearl in a fried oyster in some linoleum-floored crab shack on Cape Cod. I'm a recovering graduate student, high school Spanish teacher, unrepentant history geek, and budding mystic. I've traveled to four of the seven continents. I always love to discuss politics, religion, history, and philosophy. In my other life, I'm also a wife with really poor housekeeping skills. But I can cook. Page 1 of 285.
