Why am I Serving? Life Before the Mission. Sunday, October 13, 2013. Hey Family and Friends! I hope you all took the opportunity to watch General Conference this past weekend. We were able to be at the main campus all day sat and sun to watch it. What about it stood out to you? What did you learn? The swelling, pain, and redness had gone away and everything was hunky dory! Except that it is Tuesday! And our porch and my foot still smell like garlic! We are most likely moving o main campus next Pday!

Why am I Serving? Life Before the Mission. Why am I Serving? When President Thomas S Monson announced that the new age for missionaries was 18 for elders and 19 for sisters I was very excited. Not for myself,. But for friends I knew would be ecstatic! I didn't think it was something I would do though. I prayed and pondered the idea a lot and surprisingly to me, the answer was yes. I needed to serve a mission. There was no worry, confusion, anxiety, nothing like that. 100% peace and confidence.
