When we visited our friend Ben from Smith Rock, we were greeted with slow cooked pulled pork sandwiches, a crackling fire, a hot tub, and the opportunity to play with a dog; in other words, paradise! Monday, September 26, 2011. Saturday we did a hike that was not as long as the previous one, but deceivingly difficult given the heat that day and blaring sun. We eventually made it back to camp sun burnt and tired, but quickly recovered over a bowl of hash browns. Please check back for more pictures in the next week. アマチュア Jazz バンドのドラマーでありながら，フルマラソンも走るオッサンの記録。最近デジタル一眼レフを入手して近隣のお手軽風景写真を撮ることが新たなテーマとなり，落ち着きのない日々を送る。 30km地点でまだ脚が残っている、余力がある、と実感できた稀有なレース。これまでの2回は朝食前の早朝だったので、ランナーの姿もちらほらだったが、今回は皇居に到着したのが10時頃だったのですでにランナーが切れ目なくつながっているような状態であった。本来ならLSDとするべきところだが、時間がかかりすぎるのもいやなので、キロ6分程度のペースを設定した。やや不本意だった前回のとくしまマラソン、今年は違ったトレーニングで、と思っている。出来れば、休日以外にもつなぎで走って週3〜4日の頻度にしてみるつもり。前回（平成12年）は1時間27分26秒、ハーフで初めて1時間半を切った大会。今日は記録狙いというわけではなく、最後の5キロを4分30秒/キロまでビルドアップできるかどうか、がテーマだった。しかし、最後はやはりきつく、心拍数も170を超える瞬間があった。次は I Remember Clifford.
