Eagle by Roy Vickers. Agle soared high in the summer sky above the green trees. He was watching the village on the other side of the forest. Eagle flew to a place where people had made different choices. There, people used the forest wisely, never taking more than it could offer. they respected the other people, fish, birds and animals and made sure they all had a home. For these people life was good, for as they took care of Nature, Nature took care of them. At first the people did not believe them....

Just another WordPress site. Day 20: Fairmont Jaipur. June 4, 2014. I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I’m trying to catch up now. Jaipur was my first real Indian city, it has a total population of about 3 million. That makes it large by Canadian standards, but pretty small by Indian standards given that Delhi and Mumbai have 20 million people each approximately. Typical scene from the train, this is actually a river the train crossed on a bridge. They’ll phone up and do it. My train left ...I&#8217...

skeena2050

In the first half of 2014, skeena2050 volunteers went door-to-door and interviewed over 600 people about their ideas, hopes and fears for the region. Our intent was to create a safe space for dialogue; to listen thoughtfully; and to share what we heard with the wider community. As you can imagine, there's a vast amount of content involved. To make it easily accessible, we've curated the findings in 3 ways:. A booklet with 12 colour charts. Read it, or download it here. Now, it's over to you.

Welcome

I’m Rob Brown. For the past 35 years, I’ve fished Skeena system. In winter, sometimes alone, sometimes with a partner, I’ve strapped on snowshoes and tramped over the drifts to fish the Kitsumkalum River for steelhead. In the spring I’ve divided my angling time between the lower reaches of the Kalum, chasing spring steelhead, spring salmon, cutthroat trout and Dolly Varden char, and the Lakelse River, hunting cutthroat trout and steelhead. You’re not a bleeder are you?
