The gods are mocking me. By which I mean, I just spent over an hour typing a thoughtful, well-edited post for your perusal, and the website couldn't load it and now it's gone. Long time, no post. Sorry for the long delay. Things have been a little rough in what is usually my seaside paradise. Part of this is moving into a new and wonderful flat which does increase my necessary spending by about $200 a month. Ouch. May 27th, 2010. The saga of the ill-fated yarn-gathering expedition. So, I had a day off today, and I'm out of the particular shade of blue yarn needed to complete my latest crochet project, so I decided to drive down to Napier. Skiffer the Drifter (. Race Report: Tinman Triathlon, Tauranga. Not much in between. I don't know what that says, if anything, about the difference between the sports or the communities, lj or real world. The day was gorgeous: 20degrees (Centigrade), scattered high cloud and light, light wind that only came up about 2 hours after the start of the race. (It's summer down here. Fredag 27 december 2013. Gott Nytt År och mitt beslut! Som det har varit det sista halvåret, så syns jag inte till här så mycket! Min lilla affär och café har tagit all min tid, men så roligt har jag haft, alla underbara människor jag har träffat, all respons jag fått, helt otroligt! Här kommer lite bilder från julmarknaden den 23 nov, vi räknade med ca 400-500 besökare hos oss, bara det helt otroligt! Vi sålde korv å bröd, glögg, kolbullar, kaffe, lussebullar och allt gick åt med en strykande åtgång!
