MIKA #16] 의자 위의 여자 - 정다희 감독. 이미지 1 정다희 감독. 세계 4대 애니메이션 페스티벌 중 최고라 여겨지는 프랑스 앙시 애니메이션 페스티벌에서 최고상 수상과 함께 2014년 화려하게 등장한 한국인 아티스트입니다. 이후 정다희 감독의 최신작 'Man on the chair'. 는 칸 영화제, 히로시마 국제 애니메이션 페스티벌 등 세계 유수의 영화제에서 수상, 상영되며 그녀의 이름을 세계 곳곳에 각인 시켜 왔습니다. 감독과 작품이 많은 곳에서 회자 될수록, 그에 대한 궁금증과 갈증이 커져갔고, 그때 즈음 심사위원으로 참여하게 된 영화제에서 그녀의 작품을 만나 해갈의 행운을 가질 수 있었습니다. 지나친 기대가 실망을 줄지 모른다는 우려와 함께 감상한 작품은 제 기우를 비웃기라도 하듯 진한 여운을 주었고, 그때의 여운이 정다희 감독과의 인터뷰를 강요하였습니다. 그렇게 감독과의 대화가 시작되었습니다. 간단하게 자신 소개 부탁드려요?

K-Group에 Visual 관련 그룹이 열렸습니다! 우리도 맨날 수다떨고 술 먹는 모임 말고 발전적인 모임 좀 하면 어떨까요? 작년 송년회에서 가볍게 던져진 말이 말단이 되었습니다. 올해 초부터 약 3개월간 ILM의 이승훈님, 장유진씨와 함께 센프란시스코 Bay Area를 중심으로 하는 Visual 관련 분야 친목 and 세미나(스터디) 모임을 기획하기 시작하였고, 오늘부로 드디어 Bay Area K-Group 내의 서브 그룹인 'Group V'이 탄생되었습니다.
