Friday, July 29, 2011. We actually made it to the zoo this summer. The boys have been really wanting to go for a while now. But I am a good weather snob and only wanted to go on a nice day. Blake and Luke acted like they had never seen animals before! They were so excited with everything that we saw. Even the animals we could barely see because they were napping, they were excited about. Austin thought everything was amazing too! Tuesday, July 19, 2011. Over 5 hours later, is this still considered a nap?

Thursday, September 30, 2010. Because our house was built in the 80's, a lot of it still screams 80's. I never have liked that my cabinets and counter tops are an exact match. But I have lived with it because I couldn't afford to put in new cabinets and counter tops. Do-it-yourself" projects can be a bit scary because usually they turn out not what I was hoping for. I think they turned out awesome. It took us about a week to complete, and it was well worth it. Monday, September 20, 2010. Jockeys For A Day.

Tuesday, January 11, 2011. One morning during breakfast Chad thought he would make the kids laugh and came down wearing a mustache. They thought it was funny and wanted to have a turn. Lucky for us Chad had a 7 pack- one for everyday of the week. We thought it would be funny to put one on Austin. He didn't seem to mind. Then we put on a different one. Now he looked tough. Now all he needed was glasses to complete his look. There's a new sheriff in town. Then I thought I would have a crack at it.

Friday, November 19, 2010. Back in September Chad finally got to participate in LOTOJA. He and Craig trained for this all summer long. They put in thousands of training miles to prepare for the big day. Kristi and I got to go along and be their support vehicle, meeting them along the way to provide food, water and to shake the cow bell for encouragement. Once Upon a Time There Was a Girl and a Robot. Monday, August 29, 2011. Every summer the kids and I take a little road trip to California to see my sister. It is a very long drive (12 hrs-thank goodness for dvd players) but we love it, so we go. Usually it is pretty uneventful. Its just a nice week (or so) away to visit. This year we were jam packed with activities. And with all of that, and taking care of my 4 2(my sisters)kids I still had time to read a good book! How can you go wrong with all of that?

Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Jaxon was finally old enough for swim lessons. You couldn't keep this kid out of water for anything. He was doing belly flops off the side of the pool. They couldn't keep him from going under the water. He is a fish! He was way to advanced for his class. His eyes were blood shot all summer from him opening his eyes under water. Thursday, October 27, 2011. Lotoja 2011- 3 States, 206 Miles, 1 Day. They did it again for the 2nd year. This year they talked a few more people into it. They were lucky enough to get Dan to join them. He came all the way from Minnesota to ride this crazy ride. Chad had 1 main goal in this years race, and that was to beat his time from last year. Thursday, August 28, 2008. I ran over a raccoon Tuesday night and killed it. I have never killed anything before, well ran over anything I have managed to kill two hamsters. It was a very traumatizing experience for me. Raccoons mate for life. I KILLED SOMEONES MATE! Tuesday, August 26, 2008.
