Sunday, July 19, 2015. Blake Island: first annual Higgins/Buckingham camping trip. We took Anna and Alex over to Blake Island for a quick overnight camping trip. They drove over Friday night so we could all head to the island Saturday morning. It's a quick boat ride over there. Only about 20 minutes. There is limited space at the dock, so we had to find a moorage buoy to tie off to and then run everybody and our gear to shore on the dingy. The little playground was perfect for entertaining the boys.

Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Birthday sugar with Grams and Gramps. David's parents had us over for a late-birthday dinner for Willy. As soon as we got there, Connie let Will have two cookies. Then she let him blow out his birthday candles and have a slice of cake. Then he got to open up his presents and have a little bowl of ice cream. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. A Canadian relative of mine posted an old picture of my dad when he was probably around 18 years old. I think Will and I look a lot like him, and it's absolutely thrilling. It brings life to a person who only exists in pictures for me. Seeing Dean in Will makes Dean real and I can't put into words how cool that is!
