Don't Call Me Marge. Now with more profanity! My Work Around the Web. Friday, June 19, 2015. Fun Friday Facts #111: The History of Eyeglasses. A dear friend who is also blind as hell recently asked me what people did before they invented eyeglasses. 8220;Well, glasses were invented in like 1300 so they probably just wore glasses,” I said, pulling what I now know was a completely accurate tidbit of information right out of my ass. 8220;No, I mean, before that,” he replied. Sunday, April 5, 2009. 175: Shooters (the Remix). Last year Subhash and I were in the throes of SILDC and g-chatting about what else we could do to impress Indian girls online. Indian girls like Li'l Wayne, we surmised. Indian girls like Robin Thicke, too. Oh shit, we said to ourselves, you know what Indian girls rrrreally like? the Optician: Buying Glasses Online
http://www.daniellivingston.com/2012/09/buying-glasses-online.html
I'm Daniel Livingston. I am an optician, and I love eyewear. Sunday, September 30, 2012. Has an article reviewing ten of the most well-known sites for buying glasses online. They give good details for each of the sites, but they understandably lack any professional advice to distinguish among the sites. If you paid $10, even $20, are you going to contact customer service for a return authorization, package them up, ship them back at your expense, and wait for the refund, all the while without new glasses?
