I have mixed feelings- and mixed results- with giving Tiny Boy melatonin. FWIW to anyone else, I've been using Tired Teddies, available at amazon. It's a 0.3 mg chewable, which is the smallest I could find. And generally I lop of the head and just give him that part, so even less than half a dose, probably. Let's say maybe 0.1 mg. He took an unexpected nap at daycare (he's napped maybe three times in the past month? This meant I was prepared for a later bedtime. It went later than I would have liked (I sat in the rocker for 45 minutes) but not completely insane: 9:00. Like, he stops breathing during REM sleep so doesn't get much of it? Like I said, totally unscientific but I'm going to ask about it.

Tiny Boy went to sleep at 10:00 last night (okay, that's not good) but there was only one potty trip and no requests for drinks (already supplied.multiple beverages in the crib! Because Tiny Boy went to sleep about 30 minutes before I wanted to sleep, I watched the first bit of Thelma and Louise.
