When do we eat? Fettucine with Peas, Asparagus, and Bacon. Slightly modified to use bacon instead of pancetta, this recipe was very delish. I would recommend it! In the future I would use less peas than a whole bag, and also I skimped on the cheese, so I would have to go all out. 12 ounces fettuccine or penne. 3 ounces pancetta or bacon, chopped. 1 1/4 pounds asparagus, trimmed, cut on diagonal into 1-inch pieces. 2 garlic cloves, pressed. 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese plus additional for serving.
