Not sure if it was the 5 1/2 mile run Saturday or the 30 minutes on the stairclimber the day before, but boy do my glutes hurt. I'm hoping that's a good thing, as in they're gettiing stronger. Today, I decided to cross train on a funky machine that's in the family of eliptical machines - not really sure. Felt good though. I'm never sure i'm going to get to the finish when i do these huge runs, especially after my track record the past few years, but this time i felt kinda almost nearly 85% confident! Training went well, very well! I got duncan to drop water on the 5th, got up at a reasonable 6am, packed my shit and ran over to hockley and back. what could go wrong! I also did some early morning runs - love these . Where would you rather be . An hour tire pull with alice at the end of a 6 hour run .
