Two Newlyweds Walked into a Cornfield. Tuesday, March 27, 2007. Green Eggs and a Ham. Green eggs and green milk for breakfast. It was a classic, but it went over really well. :). Posted by Vicky and Dan. Links to this post. Saturday, March 24, 2007. Look at me improving, two posts in one month! Dan took a few days off work, and surprised me with a trip to Indianapolis! I have a big test on Monday in my toughest class this term, Molecular Biology of Cancer, so the rest of the weekend will be spent studyin...

http://danandvicky.blogspot.com/2007/10/hooray-for-long-weekends.html
Two Newlyweds Walked into a Cornfield. Tuesday, October 09, 2007. Hooray for Long Weekends! Tonight marks the end of our long-awaited October break. This four-day weekend actually cost me two vacation days, but because I had no classes and Dan had the time off, I thought it would be worth it. None of them did. except for spending time with friends. That's not to say we didn't do anything over break! I got about 12 hours of sleep a night (clearly my regular sleep schedule just isn't cutting it!

The Accidental Athlete: May 2010
http://andrearybicki.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 23, 2010. That Was a Crazy Game of Poker. Yesterday was the Mid-state Poker Run. And as with any gathering of mountain bikers, beer was present and hijinks ensued. We got there a bit late and I was pretty sure I wasn't going to do the actual poker run, but just hang out for a while. So I ate a fabulous burger from the grill. Then I watched Chris M. put together a bike for his kid while Jon W9 supervised. That was, until I saw the first sign. And then I collected numbers from stations 2 and 3.

The Accidental Athlete: June 2010

Sunday, June 20, 2010. Accidental Gets Intentional, Part 1. This is the first race report I've ever written that doesn't involve a bike. That seems crazy! Friday was full of turmoil for me. I had more nervousness leading up to this 5k than I imagined could be possible. I'm always nervous before a bike race, but nothing like this. I had a hard time concentrating on anything. By 1 pm I still hadn't heard back from my husband, so I started calling him. I called him once every half hour or so until 2...I arr...

The Accidental Athlete: March 2011
http://andrearybicki.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 27, 2011. Running in Place, Sort of. Yesterday, I did my fourth 5k. I started running on April 18, 2010, nearly a year ago, and since then I've been amazed at how much I've enjoyed it and that I've kept doing it. That doesn't mean I don't have any goals when it comes to running, though. It isn't only my therapy. I also want to improve. What does all this mean? Today I should be racing Barry-Roubaix, but I'm not. I'm sore from running yesterday, I haven't trained, my helmet is broken, I ...

Two Newlyweds Walked into a Cornfield: Happy Halloween!
http://danandvicky.blogspot.com/2007/10/happy-halloween.html
Two Newlyweds Walked into a Cornfield. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. Well, despite a few mishaps (including candle wax all over my favorite shoes and forgetting to take pictures of the whole evening! Our Halloween party tonight was a huge success. As of this morning, I figured that only about 5 people were going to show up, which was particularly disappointing because I had worked so hard to prep for this party! Oh come on, it's not like I'm going to chase you! To clean up, but all in all it was one of ou...

Two Newlyweds Walked into a Cornfield: May 2007
http://danandvicky.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Two Newlyweds Walked into a Cornfield. Wednesday, May 23, 2007. So obviously my previous attempts at keeping this thing up have failed, so I'm going to try this: VERY short posts so that hopefully I make time to do them more often. When I told Dan I hope this doesn't mean ending up with "special" children, he goes, "Cool! There is no spoon.'" I'm more just hoping to avoid extra limbs. Posted by Vicky and Dan. Jerry's Blog: March 2008
http://jerryross.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Well, we'll try again. Wednesday, March 12, 2008. The Price of a Life. The age old question: How much is a Life worth. Clearly such a value exists since the military offers up their soldiers for sacrifice on a daily basis. But there in lies the illusion. It's not a sacrifice if there is the possibility. Perfect, lets go back and get him and make sure we add 3 other bodies right next to him. Why "we" operate under these guidelines is the first question. The second is: who is "we"? The Price of a Life.
