There is no photography in this blog, whereas there used to be some in my other blog. Since my point-and-shoot camera died in November, I have been r...

We had a nice low-key Christmas. We visited many of the local relatives and had a few cocktails. The week of Christmas was scheduled as a rest week in the training plan. Cross Season, Training, Coaching. 2010 season observations while racing CX :. Not training for it doesn't make it hurt more than having trained for it. Riding in the woods chasing deer is not equal to a cross-specific workout. One is simply slower without training. Run ups are really really slow without the training. It's still loads and loads of fun. The season is almost done (it's gone quick). The folks who I've worked with as a coach this year are RIPPING IT UP this CX season. Drakes Coffe CX Team.

http://smile62528.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
A Thousand Miles To Go. So take this broken offering and make me whole,. Set my feet upon the road that leads me home,. Let me walk as one fixed upon the goal,. Even though I've got a thousand miles to go.". Monday, May 17, 2010. Brighton Rec's Murray Lake Trail is one of my favorites to ride.
