http://lifeofanordinarymom.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 10, 2012. This will be a long post of pictures, but it was a long, fun weekend full of memories :). Both kids and I were honored to be a part of Hollis and Mike Walsh's wedding weekend. Jack was the ring bearer, Lexi the flower girl, and I was a Matron of Honor. We all had such a wonderful time and here is the proof :)! Practicing - Ms. Hollis forgot the actual pillow. The bride and her flower girl. Result of tired feet. Mike and Hollis style :). Mike's surprise to his bride.

Life of an Ordinary Mom: October 2012
http://lifeofanordinarymom.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 7, 2012. Jack is your stereotypical second kid/boy. He doesn't perform on cue and he speaks only when required. So, this new found love of "reading aloud" is so much fun. Here's a video of him "reading" If You Take a Mouse to School. We got cut off right near the end, but it's still most of the story. Posted by Ordinary Mom. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life of an Ordinary Mom: August 2012
http://lifeofanordinarymom.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. So, in Target, Lexi asks, "Mom, what are lips for? I respond with the usual, "What do you think? L: They are for kissing. Me: Well, that's true, but we also need them to eat and talk and drink and lot of other stuff. L: But Mom, you have to say kissing. That's important. L: Because if people didn't kiss they couldn't get married. And, if they can't get married, there wouldn't be any children! Me: Oh, I see. Here are her first day of second grade pics! Life of an Ordinary Mom: July 2012
http://lifeofanordinarymom.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 5, 2012. So, this was the weekend we made the short trek to the train track down the road from the lake house. Until this day, the track was a far away bridge we could see the train cross from the back porch. Since this day, when I say we are going to the lake, I get "Railroad crossing," "Choo-choo bridge" and "train track." It's like the boat and the water are secondary! It ended up being a very relaxing and fun-filled weekend for "Daddy" though :). Lexi learning to "drive". Halloween Par...

Life of an Ordinary Mom: Ice Storm 2014
http://lifeofanordinarymom.blogspot.com/2014/02/ice-storm-2014.html
Wednesday, February 12, 2014. This is what you sound like sledding on top of 4 inches of ice at a high rate of speed hoping that your mother will drop the camera and catch you before you go into the lake. Not sure how you measure this, but it's thick! What your face looks like sledding on top of ice. Our feet, deep sleet. The sleet angel you could hear (feet sliding), but couldn't see (she didn't even crack the surface). Little balls of sleet. Depth in the grass.not accurate, but still. It's a Golden Day.
