I can't believe our little Luke is already 1! We had a little party for him, and he had so much fun with all the attention, which he is totally not used to having! Is it weird that I feel old even on Nate's birthday? I guess I am just always blown away at how fast time flies. We were able to go to Utah for Nate's family reunion this year - it was super fun! The drive was not so fun however. We woke the boys up at 3am, yes am, and left for the long drive up. The drive up was easier, for some reason, than the drive back. Maybe it was the fact that we were leaving for vacation, as opposed to coming home from vacation? So, I don't know why it is even an option for home builders Arizona to not include a porch covering. Our backyard also has no big trees, so when we first moved in 2.5 years ago up until a couple months ago, we had no shade! It was actually a super fun project and although we were burnt out by the end, I would definitely do it all over again! I found this awesome patio set on craigslist for $75! There were many photos from a wonderful day visit to Bruno's Gardens, that I'd shared some years back.
