I Love All Different Seasons. This was my blog when I was five and six. Friday, December 22, 2006. Hanukkah and Christmas are very different. They do different things. They prepare differently. On Hanukkah, you play dreidels and eat latkes and chocolate gelt. On Christmas, you have a Christmas tree. But it makes sense for them to be different because they're totally different holidays. The story of Hanukkah. Since they won, they decided to rebuild their temple and that's how Hanukkah became Hanukkah.
