We took the Metro in from our hotel in Silver Spring and got off at the Smithsonian stop. This takes you right up to the National Mall, directly in between the Congress building and the Washington Monument. It kind of takes your breath away. There's the Washington Monument! David touching the stone of the giant obelisk. The Monument, seen from the World War II Monument fountains.

Monday, September 7, 2009. I went to my first Dodgers home game. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but games are still fun once in awhile. Jason's brother Brandon lent me an appropriate hat. This is the phone they gave me at my new job. Is it just me, or does it look like someone dropped it in the toliet? I have yet to plug it in.
