Our weekend visit with r in DC was a success! I hadn't been to the city since a trip in high school, which was like 6 years ago(? So it was fun to go back and explore on our own and without an itinerary. since the city has so many landmarks and is full of history we made a point of doing the touristy things. i think this time i had a much greater appreciation for things than i had on my three previous trips. Coffee and donuts on friday morning. Afterward we grabbed a drink and hung out at lost society.

Apparently, it’s damn near impossible. I was making the swiss chard-apple-berry juice that I mentioned in my previous post and I ate 2 blueberries. Just ate them.
