The Bonny Knitter: May 2011
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Monday, May 2, 2011. The whole thing was nothing short of a miracle and couldn't have gone better. For starters, everything went off without a hitch, (except for the required one) even though we planned and executed this operation in less than three months. In Baltimore, surprised us by contributing a delicious traditional Iranian wedding dish to the reception buffet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Amazon Contextual Product Ads. Randomly on a Wednesday.

The Bonny Knitter: A Wish for Hogswatch
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2011/12/wish-for-hogswatch.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Saturday, December 31, 2011. A Wish for Hogswatch. I don't want anything for myself this year. All I really want is for the box of goodies to make it to Wolf in Afghanistan at lightening speed. It would be nice if the balaclava. I knit for him arrived in time for him to make good use of it. I made it using leftovers of Eskimo. From when I made the wolf jacket. It's so soft that Vova thought it was cashmere. January 1, 2012 at 3:36 AM. Amazon Contextual Product Ads.

The Bonny Knitter: May 2015
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Friday, May 8, 2015. Dont call it a comeback. Beautiful reality #1: I repainted two deep hive bodies to match the color scheme of the house. Beautiful reality #2: Package installation day went off without a hitch. I left the house early enough to beat the traffic in both directions. The weather was perfect for it. I guess l gained enough experience from my previous installations to make this one quick and easy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Randomly on a Wednesday.

The Bonny Knitter: Look what I made!
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2011/08/look-what-i-made.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Sunday, August 14, 2011. Look what I made! Well, Vova helped make him, too. This is our son, Axel. He's a beautiful, healthy boy who takes up most of our time and we wouldn't have it any other way. The week before he was born, I knitted the one skein hooded baby sweater. The day before I went into labor, I had blocked the sweater and started on these folded booties. As with all the kid things I make, Vova wants me to make some for him in adult size. It's April, say ...

The Bonny Knitter: November 2010
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Monday, November 15, 2010. Ahem, now where was I? Oh, yes, now I remember. You may have noticed that I like trying new things or new variations on things I've tried before. Kind of ironic, considering that I'm re-writing my post from yesterday. No matter, I digress. A certain girl I know finds all wool itchy, even cashmere. I recently found out she likes Wonder Woman. So, when I came across the Wonder Beanie. In my list of favorites on Ravelry, it seemed perfect.

The Bonny Knitter: June 2011
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Sunday, June 19, 2011. Who both blog in English despite it not being their native language, I have long wanted to do the same. That is, blog in one of the other languages I know. I have been telling myself that I'll do it the next post, but I never get around to it. I might not do it every post and I do intend to vary the second language. I made a couple of things for Axel, the baby I'm growing in my belly. First, there was Lyric. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Bonny Knitter: I had my head examined
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2012/09/i-had-my-head-examined.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Sunday, September 30, 2012. I had my head examined. Oddly enough, the doctors did not find all the posts I've been carrying. Oh, my God! You look like you have Dr. Seuss disease! One of my friends at work told me I looked like I had "Dr. Seuss disease" after I came back from allergy testing. They marked and numbered my arm with a purple marker to indicate where they were they were testing for what. In case you were wondering, my Hog's Watch. You might notice that th...

The Bonny Knitter: February 2011
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Sunday, February 6, 2011. What month is it? Where did this half sweater come from? Why do none of my pants fit? Oh, right, I've been pregnant for the last three and a half months. I really was not prepared for how tired I would be in the first trimester. How I managed to finally finish the back of the sweater for our friend Paul, is somewhat of a mystery. It's not all obvious in reality and it doesn't affect the design or structure of the sweater. What month is it?

The Bonny Knitter: Baby Boom
http://thebonnyknitter.blogspot.com/2011/12/baby-boom.html
Knitting and other metaphors for life. Monday, December 12, 2011. A dear friend of ours was in town last weekend to celebrate a big birthday with his family. He mentioned his daughter was due to deliver at any minute. That was my cue to whip out another last-minute baby bonnet. I went with green and purple this time since I didn't know the sex of the baby. The little girl was born in time to make an appearance at her grandfather's birthday party. Both she and her mother looked great. The Exciting Adventu...
