Wednesday, July 29, 2009. The pattern for this lovely bracelet was created by my good friend, Carolyn DeGroff. I used amethyst fire polish Czech glass, and size 8 silver lined light amethyst beads along with size 11 transparent light amethyst AB seed beads. Tuesday, July 14, 2009. Major exciting news. I just learned today that I sold my first piece of jewlery at the D'Marie Gallery in Paola, Kansas! And she has listed three of my piece's on her website. Sunday, July 12, 2009. Saturday, August 31, 2013. Working on Kumihimo project for class I took at KC Bead Society Bead Blast in May, stuck again! Guess I will have to work on some of those UFO's, of which I have many! Looking back, I attended a bead retreat with the KC Bead Society in May at Cedar Crest Lodge in Pleasanton, Kansas. Our instructor was the delightful Melanie Potter. I actually managed to finish one of the projects before the June Bead Society meeting. This is my bracelet Melanie calls Serrated Cuff.
