Bunchberry Studio: Now I can show!
http://bunchberrystudio.blogspot.com/2015/08/now-i-can-show.html
Friday, August 14, 2015. Now I can show! I have delivered one of my finished quilts to its new owner, so I can now show it off to you! Commissioned me to make her an art quilt for her living room. She wanted it to feel like the color of cranberry. First off I had to go shopping. While in California earlier this year I was able to find some wonderful batiks in cranberry. I then had the idea to have my friend Lisa. Background is all pieced! The quilting on the back. Close up of the quilting. I am working o...

Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Altered Magazine Art Journal Page with Kaleidoscope Stencils. I was so excited to play with the new Kaleidoscope Series by Cecilia Swatton. Newest Signature Series Artist. I love stencils that will work as a background for any them e page. and they are gorgeous to boot! I received the stencils around the same time I was gifted some "Deli Paper". I had heard it's all the rage in mono printing, so I thought I would test it out. Here are the results:. Ali's Truths, Universally Acknowledged . . .: July 2012

Wednesday, July 25, 2012. 24th of July Float Preview. We took my niece to the 24th of July float preview this year. There were some really great ones, although, I only got pictures of two of them. At the Up movie one, they had pictures for the kids to color. I waited for at least 20 minutes, more likely a half an hour, so Addie could have a balloon kitty. During my wait, Mom and Addie looked at the rest of the floats and got treats. Labels: 24th of July. Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Monday, July 23, 2012.

Saturday, April 27, 2013. Jekyll and Hyde: The David Hasselhoff version. I rented this movie from the library with a little trepidation. I'm not a real David Hasselhoff fan and had not heard real great reviews of him, but I really wanted my mom to be able to see the musical, since wasn't able to go when we were in Chicago. I also really like Insane. In both versions was interesting. I really didn't like this movie's take on it. Labels: Jekyll and Hyde. Friday, April 26, 2013. But I thought I'd give this ...

Bunchberry Studio: March 2015
http://bunchberrystudio.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 27, 2015. I am here. Really! I had thought about writing a blog post last week. But I had nothing to talk about. So rather than spewing nonsense, I kept quiet. This week I finished another Journal project. I had talked about it last month. I really did intend to make these weekly. I guess it is not a weekly journal project. But it will be a 52 piece project. So much for out there. I had taken a class and failed spiraling. So this was proof that I could actually spiral! Post for this week.
