Nickel Film Festival Saturday. This week was a week of film. First taking in a couple of Hollywood blockbusters during the week, before attending the Nickel Independent Film Festival on Saturday! We were treated to a really mixed selection of films both from local film makers and from further afield. After spending some time in Havana and the Viñales Valley, we finished up our trip by chilling out in the resort town of Varadero! And checking out all of the sights, of course. This weekend was an eventful one as we flew up to the Northern Peninsula to visit the town of St. Anthony, and the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site of L'Anse aux Meadows! This weekend we headed out to Central Newfoundland, for the second time this summer, to attend the annual Micmac Powwow at Conne River! Quidi Vidi Brewery Saturday.
