Monday, March 31, 2008. It's that time of year again when students strive desparately to find decent living spaces close to campus. Alex and I are living together this year, and we decided to try to find a place in or near Peoria. We looked at several apartment, but were not impressed. Finally we checked out a place in Morton and immediately fell in love with it. We both keep saying, "I can't wait to live there! Posted by Meesh at 9:26 AM. Tuesday, April 29, 2008. Alex and I went to the Gamma Phi Circus last weekend, and it was a lot of fun! The acts were positively incredible. It was not uncommon to see stacks of people three high. There were people being twirled around on ropes in crazy positions, suspending themselves in silks, being catapulted onto one another, performing amazing juggling tricks, and doing some incredible trapeze stunts. Posted by Meesh at 5:54 PM. Friday, April 18, 2008. Yes, I am a nerd. Today was the annual undergra...

rantings and ravings: July 2008

Thursday, July 10, 2008. All too short vacation. Well Alex and I finally got a few days off from work. Unfortunately we only had four to work with. We had to ditch our original plan to go to Ripley's Believe It or Not in Branson due to massive flooding. Day 2 we went to the St. Louis Zoo and saw many interesting animals. We also failed to see many of them since they were either hiding or not present. A couple of my favorites were the penguins, giraffes, zebra, and polar bear butt. View my complete profile.

Friday, May 15, 2009. Getting it out of my system. For five years, I commuted to Chicago for work. I left the house at 6:30 to make it to work by 8:30. At 4:3o, I left my office and power walked to the train. At 4:47, my train left the platform. By 5:00, I was sound asleep until my train pulled into the University Park station at 5:40. Graduate Class of 2009. As of May 9, I finally have my master's degree! I swear, I won't get a doctorate! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Muddle a Mint Sprig.

Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Kids' bedroom and playroom. This is the view from the door of the new bedroom. The room is cream colored, but the flash might not show that very well. The rocking chair might have to go once we start using the crib for the baby. It's a little crowded in here. This is the back part of the room (beds behind me). I used spice racks from Ikea to make book shelves that Eddie can reach himself. I put some cute outfits on the hooks. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Muddle a Mint Sprig.

above all things: The Mom of the Year award goes to....
http://above-all-things.blogspot.com/2011/01/mom-of-year-award-goes-to.html
Tuesday, January 18, 2011. The Mom of the Year award goes to. As some of you may know, I become a horrible person if I do not shower within 24 hours of my last shower. This rarely coincides with the schedule of a new mommy. About an hour ago, I. That limit. Eddie did not want to sleep or be alone, and I needed a shower. So, I put the travel swing in the bathroom. So where is my little man right now? He's sleeping. In the bathroom. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Muddle a Mint Sprig.

Thursday, June 25, 2009. How to Make a Princess. I'm not used to having so much free time. It's great, but I started running out of things to do about two weeks ago. So, I downloaded a DOS emulator so I could play some of my old computer games and maybe try some new ones. This blog is about one of those new games. It's called Princess Maker 2. Seriously. Science class makes intelligence go up, but morals go down. If she has a cool career, like Hero Warrior, her husband is described as "strong-willed.".
