Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Sabbatical in the Fall :-). It's a good year so far. I'll be researching barnacles in the fall for my sabbatical. I'm looking forward to the time off and the time to do research. Also I got reviews back on a manuscript revision and it should (with more revisions) be heading off to being published in the next 6 months. Woohoo! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). On the road to somewhere: Snowman Diversity
http://plantecologist.blogspot.com/2007/02/snowman-diversity.html
On the road to somewhere. In which a plant ecologist explores botany, fiber arts, and other interesting roadside attractions. Tuesday, February 6, 2007. I was able to capture several snowpersons. Before they melted, and I would like to present them here. There were well dressed snow people. This little guy was one of my favorites. He was about 1 foot tall. Several, pure white varieties. There was a snow dog. This guy - love his hat and the pose of his arms. A snow person greats the day with enthusiasm.

On the road to somewhere. In which a plant ecologist explores botany, fiber arts, and other interesting roadside attractions. Friday, November 20, 2009. Long Time No See. Been looking back over my blog, and I love being reminded of things I had forgotten about. For example, this post on snowman diversity. As such, I have decided I need to put time back into my blog, for myself, though I hope my friends and family will return to reading this blog and hopefully enjoy it. Wander through the Williams World: Matt's Visit
http://wanderwilliamsworld.blogspot.com/2015/07/matts-visit.html
Wander through the Williams World. Occassional updates about our adventures! Saturday, July 11, 2015. The one and only Waunakee in the world made the cut for a visit by Matt as he bikes across America! We were so thrilled to host him and hear tales of his journey. When we picnicked at the Waunakee Tuesday concert, Matt was a bit of a celebrity, with several of our neighbors coming over to ask questions, seek tips and gawk in amazement at 3500 miles pedaled. And even mowed two lawns! The Move is Official.

http://wanderwilliamsworld.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wander through the Williams World. Occassional updates about our adventures! Sunday, April 26, 2015. My brother's epic adventure begins! Yesterday morning, my brother embarked on a cross-country journey. It's an ambitious endeavor! One that certainly dwarfs the modest Bike the Barns conducted on a single fall day. We're excited for Matt's adventure and wish him all the best. To travel by bicycle is to be overwhelmed by the next mile. And to be underwhelmed by the vast distances that lie ahead. It's still...
