My musings and tales of adventure. Thursday, October 30, 2014. Sitting there with Grandma in the presence of a living Prophet I said, "Grandma, that's the prophet. That's our prophet. Are you happy to see him? In response, Grandma managed to rattle out a gorgeous "yes," in her distinct soprano, seldom heard voice; a voice I can still hear when I imagine her singing, "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas," a Christmas tradition, that for most of my life was as sure as the rising sun. I also love this video.

A list of life's happenings.: Side Explosion
http://kristinwallin.blogspot.com/2012/07/side-explosion.html
Monday, July 23, 2012. Our oo's and awes turned into shouts and piercing screams from the kiddos. After laughing for five minutes we lighted another one. This time the kids were hiding in the garage-two little heads poking out. Once again it the fireworks come out the side! What a night to remember, great fireworks, refreshing scooter rides, kids falling asleep while being read stories and mosquito bites to prove it all. Did jeff get hit again? Maybe he is a fireworks magnet! View my complete profile.

Kicks and Gibbles: Money talk
http://kicksandgibbles.blogspot.com/2012/10/money-talk.html
Tuesday, October 2, 2012. I've been trying, lately, to teach Jack what money is. So far I've been completely unsuccessful. Here's a recent conversation we had. Jack (holding a dime): "Look Mommy! Me: "Jack that isn't candy, it's money. Jack: "Be so nummy! Nummy means yummy in Jack-speak). So far, all he understands is that sometimes I carry these round metal things in my purse, and I like to pretend that they are delicious. LLsouHes so funny. I hope he doesnt try eating them.
