Fox Plantation: July 2014
http://foxplantation.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 15, 2014. I really like to plan ahead but sometimes no matter how organized I think things are things don't work out quite right. I had a fairly busy week last week and I was looking forward to having a calm week this week - there wasn't even anything written in on the calendar until Saturday when we were supposed to head to Arkansas. I thought that sounded perfect! Here I thought I had saved myself 6 hours by sending him on the bus, but really made it a 10 hr drive. I thought losing 2 ...

Joy in the journey. Join us as we tackle a new career, cloth diapers, knitting, quilting, baking bread, homeschooling, and more in a new city in a house full of kids and loosely organized chaos. Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Nasty hot day water hose tools PVC 2 trips to Home Depot = lots of fun! And in no time, it's ready to go! We made it tall.). Don't look too sure, do they? But maybe it's just her brother. And a shot of Nathan before he could make a face. And just so you know we still have Joseph.

Joy in the journey. Join us as we tackle a new career, cloth diapers, knitting, quilting, baking bread, homeschooling, and more in a new city in a house full of kids and loosely organized chaos. Monday, September 8, 2014. Proof we went camping. Though, as you can see, the camera never left the car. and only Charlie took pictures. See our lovely lean-to? Our favorite site. This allowed us all to sleep dry and tent-less on our last camp-out, despite the fairly heavy rain. And I've been busy making hats of ...

Crazy in Paradise: July 2013
http://kmbnorris.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Tripping in the great NW. Living in the great NW has brought challenges that require adaptation. Rather than sulk and cancel plans one must be resilient and press onward. As is evident from the following. I neglected to post about our spring break trip or really anything else during the "dark times" so this will be a catch up. Even the dog missed the snow. Those prints can't be a 12 yr old.I have a man child! Someone is 12 :/. Washington Park on Fidalgo Island. We stayed at Neha...

Crazy in Paradise: January 2013
http://kmbnorris.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 23, 2013. What the HECK am I doing with my life? Pre-move to the woods I had a plan. I was taking classes and gonna go back to school. I was juggling it all pretty well. I had a routine. (Wake, eat, get kids to school, workout, work part time from home, volunteer, study, read, visit goodwill, REPEAT). But then the life changed! The advice was valid but I felt like I was given a cake mix with no instructions on how to get it together. Find Someone to Trust":. I can't even find my pants&...

Crazy in Paradise: May 2013

Friday, May 31, 2013. Little League of their own. There is something about watching children under the age of about 10 playing sports. These little beings are like mini perpetual motion machines, always going in a million directions at once and then BAM! The ball is hit and focus ensues making it necessary for every child on the field/court to pursue the ball or puck or whatever. Such is the case with Butch's team. The mighty River Dogs! So now that you have the background lets set the scene. The remaind...

Fox Plantation: March 2013
http://foxplantation.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 1, 2013. Today I went to read to Matthew's kindergarten class in honor of Dr. Seuss (his birthday is tomorrow.) On the way home. Emma asked "why did the school have all those decorations" (They had cool truffular trees and balloons and all sorts of stuff.). Me: In honor of Dr. Seuss. Emma: Who is that? Me: the guy that wrote. Emma: ooooo is it his birthday? Me: Yep tomorrow is. Emma: ooooh, can we get him a present? Emma: He has no pinkie in heaven? Emma: So he has no heart, no.

Crazy in Paradise: June 2014
http://kmbnorris.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 21, 2014. Growing up is hard- Especially for Mom. In March, Clyde -AKA #1 son- competed in a state competition for the Technology Student Association. We promised him that if he won at state we would try to send him to Washington D.C. He did.So we did. Clyde is a very good young man. He is studious and smart. He is kind and conscientious. He is brilliant and industrious. He also has a great advisor in Mark Klune and I was certain he'd be fine. BUT He is 13. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Crazy in Paradise: December 2012
http://kmbnorris.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 28, 2012. So Christmas has come and it has gone and it was perfect! Now don't have a heart attack. Some of you may remember the post. Of infamy where I expressed my deep seeded issues with the holidays. Well moving far from family and having only the hubby's parents here was quite relaxing. We saw the sights and celebrated the birth of our Savior BUT we also just enjoyed each other. We talked and remembered. We got to know each other better and just appreciated each other. Fox Plantation: Halloween 2012
http://foxplantation.blogspot.com/2013/11/halloween-2012.html
Friday, November 1, 2013. I figured before I post for this year, I need to post for last year. I was feeling a bit sick so I told the kids they could be whatever we already have so the costumes aren't amazing. Also somehow we hardly took pictures. Charlotte wore the princess dress from Emma's birthday. They had Rock star day at school that day or soon before. Katie decided it was more wearable than the whale from the year before. Emma has the same ball gown on. Obviously not our most impressive year!
