http://cherylsfeatherednest.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 28, 2011. I admit it. I got a little distracted after that last blog post.a month. Ago Sorry. Want to know what's been getting my attention? Mostly I've been getting things done. Yay for getting lots of gifts off to their recipients.and making some space in the closet! In the middle of all that this showed up in my mailbox:. Yup, as soon as I saw the cover I sat down and read the entire magazine. Can you blame me? And then these showed up:. She's a little under the weather today and dayca...

The Feathered Nest: September 2011
http://cherylsfeatherednest.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Is growing up WAY too fast. Spent several evenings in the pool this summer - but not enough. Spent the night in the tent - and stayed by herself in the dark for a couple hours all by herself. Halfway through the night she decided she wanted to sleep by Papa, which meant Papa ending up "sleeping" not on his mat, but directly on the floor. Loves to paint. She wears her "painting dress" and is pretty darn good at rolling. Loves hoods. And she's so darn cute in them.

The Feathered Nest: March 2011
http://cherylsfeatherednest.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 20, 2011. A busy, but good, weekend. Saturday started with a trip to the quilt shop for the block-of-the-month club. A quick trip home was followed by a birthday party for our now 3 year-old niece. The birthday girl, blowing up balloons. Ada was the only one not dressed as a princess, but she didn't notice. She also didn't eat any cake. But she was completely into the flower balloons. :). Here's what we saw:. And this great ceiling in the master suite. The next house - a bad floorplan a cra...

The Feathered Nest: Waiting for Spring...
http://cherylsfeatherednest.blogspot.com/2013/04/waiting-for-spring.html
Wednesday, April 24, 2013. The view from my kitchen window. I love this picture for the way it captures how things have been lately. A hint of spring here or there, but for the most part winter has still had us in its grip. Two Thursdays in a row we had snow; the first round was seriously a blizzard - the morning after was the worst commute we've had all winter. And yet somehow the wait for Spring has felt okay this year. One of us for sure has still been practically jumping for joy each time it snows.

Wednesday, January 19, 2011. January Modern Quilt Guild Meeting. Had a GREAT time at our guild meeting. Back at the November meeting we traded scraps in a blind swap to make mug rugs. For each other, and last night we gave the completed mug rug back to the fabric owner. Here's a closer look at the mug rug I made for Kelly with her scraps:. Then continued from the "y" at the end of her name to stitch just inside the outer border until I got back to the end of her name. Then I stitched another line in ...
