The Frog Princess: Handy pocket bag
http://gershamabob.blogspot.com/2012/04/handy-pocket-bag.html
Thursday, 19 April 2012. I decided ages ago that my delightful daughter needed a bag of her own. One that was easy to get into, without a flap to get in the way of the treasures which constantly need carting about. Enter the cargo pocket bag! One bag, fit for the treasures of an 18-month-old munchkin. The strap even has extra length. I can just move the velcro on the strap to a new position, and the bag will grow with her! It was love at first wear. Posted by the frog princess. Ahhh, thats really lovely!

http://gershamabob.blogspot.com/2011/08/oooh-not-posted-in-ages-terrible-i-know.html
Wednesday, 10 August 2011. Oooh, not posted in ages, terrible I know! And now I'm posting when I really ought to be in bed! A quick recap of the last few months:. Kiddo is nine and a half months old! She's as old as a pregnancy! She keeps me busy. The knitting I've been doing? Well, it's all gonna get ripped out. No point in knitting something in two colours if they're impossible to tell apart except in bright sunlight. Baby trousers: ( Big Butt Baby Pants pattern. A sunsuit from the Made By Rae pattern.

Friday, August 02, 2013. The fibre is 100 grams of 100% Southdown dyed by Megan as part of her 2012 sock club. I've ended up with a worsted spun, 3 ply sock yarn. Estimated yardage (once the second skein is plied) is around 320 metres. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Berry Hill fingerless mittens. View my complete profile. A Dress A Day. Thomasina knits: All the W's
http://thomasinaknits.blogspot.com/2012/11/all-ws.html
Saturday, November 03, 2012. Is all about wearing and celebrating wool. Luckily I have a brand new woolly Warriston. To keep me warm throughout the month. Pattern: Warriston by Kate Davies. Yarn: Studio Donegal Soft Donegal in Shade 5230 Orange; 5 skeins*. Needles: 5.5mm circular throughout. Mods: knit body to 16" and sleeves to 17" to get the right length and knit a funnel neck instead of cowl neck. But at least I'm pleased with how the sweater looks. NB I ran a bit short hence the neck alterations.

The Frog Princess: make sure al gore don't cry
http://gershamabob.blogspot.com/2008/02/make-sure-al-gore-dont-cry.html
Thursday, 21 February 2008. Make sure al gore don't cry. The whole Al Gore thing is my husband's fault, his is very adamant about shutting off the lights and turning down the heat so that we don't make Al Gore cry. Well, I had 10 balls of lime green cotton burning a guilty consumer's hole in my stash, so what better way to use it than an eco string bag? Pattern: Elisa's Nest Tote. With the bottom from the Everlasting Bagstopper. Posted by the frog princess. The lime green looks gorgeous. Need to email me?

Thomasina knits: New toy
http://thomasinaknits.blogspot.com/2012/06/new-toy.html
Friday, June 29, 2012. My first introduction to the Nostepinne egg (the little ball of yarn that you can wind with the Nosty) came at Cecilia's house early on in the week. Cecilia has the most delightful wool room at the back of the house with spinning equipment, fibre, skeins of yarn hanging up, and little Nostepinne balls lying everywhere like little Faberge Easter eggs. And a good YouTube tutorial here. I may refine my technique in time but for now I'm happy with my eggs. Berry Hill fingerless mittens.

The Frog Princess: Viewfinder Skirt
http://gershamabob.blogspot.com/2012/03/viewfinder-skirt.html
Sunday, 18 March 2012. OK, it's been over six months since my last post. It's not like I haven't been a bit crafty, it's just that I was blessed with the Amazing Non-Sleeping Child. Recently said child has begun to sleep long periods at night, and even decent stretches of an hour at naptime. I can create again! I have come to show you my newest creation, a skirt for me. Ever since I saw this fabric from the Ruby Star Rising line by Melody Miller. I knew it would grace a skirt for me. Really love the pock...

The Frog Princess: Cosy
http://gershamabob.blogspot.com/2012/04/cosy.html
Wednesday, 11 April 2012. Yes, Christmas was well over 3 months ago, I know. Here's the present I made for my husband, finally (mostly) finished. A small matter of buttons and loops! I made him a cafetiere cosy, so that our coffee stays warm on even the most hectic weekend morning. Here's the cosy. Our little hectic-maker couldn't help but get involved in the action:. The backside with the to-die-for buttons I picked up at Darn It and Stitch:. Posted by the frog princess. 13 April 2012 at 11:23.
