About StateoftheCity.com - A Real Life Civics Education Project. Are real-life civics education lessons. The projects have had two years of testing. This testing was done in California only. In our first year, 2011, two students from San Francisco, selected by Lowell High School, were sent to Governor Jerry Brown's StateoftheState in Sacramento. Is a real life civics ed lesson and scholarship contest for students. The idea of the project is to simply get you more involved and informed in current government. The project began and had it's origin in California. In 2011 and 2012 / 2013 tests were conducted (in California only) utilizing both StateoftheState.com and StateoftheCity.com.
