It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia: About this site
http://alwaystuesdayinphilly.blogspot.com/p/about-this-site.html
It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia. This site is basically my blog. The name comes from a mash up of the title of a popular TV show based in Philly combined with the tendency for folks in my various online circles of actively trolling on Tuesdays. Hope you enjoy it. It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia: September 2012

It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia. Ugh, what a rough night. As I was going to bed, I felt the beginning of a migraine coming on. For a moment, I thought about getting up and taking some meds. What bothers me most in a lot of articles is the broad brush an author will write with when setting up their main point. Its a natural tendency, one that Ive succumbed to previously. The Problem with Online Content Delivery. As TV moves from the airwaves (hey, I still have rabbit ears! Been playing with Watir.

It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia: Playing with P Mode
http://alwaystuesdayinphilly.blogspot.com/2013/06/playing-with-p-mode.html
It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia. Playing with P Mode. So I dabble in photography. I have a pretty nice dSLR and an extremely solid point and shoot along with my iPhone which can be handy and take a surprisingly good picture in a pinch. Anyway, my brother recently acquired the same dSLR that I have - the Nikon D5100. Love this camera. Great sensor. Lightweight. Lots of capabilities. Found a great link on Ken Rockwell's site regarding playing with Manual mode but in it he mentioned P Mode. It has a P M...

That Girl with the Scalpel: February 2014
http://thatgirlwiththescalpel.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
That Girl with the Scalpel. A recently graduated Pathologists' Assistant. Thursday, February 20, 2014. Trying doesn't quite count. But there was a number I'd have to email my course director to get and didn't want to be a bother. So I figured I'd just do the online application and skip that bit, except four minutes after I started filling out the online application the website went down for maintenance. Rats, foiled again! It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia. So today I will watch Magnum P.I. Specifically, Season 7, Espisode 6: Death and Taxes. My brother was nice enough to tape it for me years ago. Deoxit is the bomb. I think this may be my current favorite product ever in the history of the universe. I came across it while researching how to fix pots on old stereo receiver. It's Always Tuesday in Philadelphia. Paying down the debt. Saw an interesting tweet today about paying down the deficit by getting rid of Alaska. We purchased Alaska from Russia for $7.2 million USD back in the 19th century. Surely it's appreciated. Of course if we focused on the gas and oil in Alaska (approximately 35 billion barrels of oil and 137 trillion cubic feet of natural gas according to this. Then the value jumps somewhat. Right now, a barrel of oil sells for @$84. Very cool Mac trick. I decide...

That Girl with the Scalpel. A recently graduated Pathologists' Assistant. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. The year that was, and the year that will be. 2013 was chock full of exciting and wondrous things, and a few things I'd rather never have happen again. I will forget to mention great swathes of things that mattered, I'm sure, but that is par for the course. The things that seemed so horrible at the time (I'm looking at you laptop crash! The pathologists are nice too, but not as fun to hang out with!
